A biostimulant is a product that positively influences the growth and resistance of plants.
It does this by stimulating the natural processes in plants.
A biostimulant ensures better uptake and more efficient use of nutrients, and makes crops more tolerant to abiotic stress (e.g. drought, heat or frost).

Aphasol contains a total of 18 amino acids, mainly low molecular weight peptides and free amino acids, which are the source of the nutritional and bio-stimulating properties of the product.
Aphasol has a unique amino acid profile with high concentrations of some very specific amino acids, key to several important plant metabolic processes
Aphasol contains for 85% L-form amino acids, which are more readily available to plants than their D-form counterparts.
This high concentration is achieved through the use of specific enzymes and working at low temperatures during the different hydrolysis process steps. This keeps racemisation of free amino acids to a minimum, unlike chemical hydrolysis.
